The meeting rooms we will use for the oral presentations and poster sessions are:

Presentations should be 15 minutes in length unless you have been selected to give a keynote talk by the session's chairs (see the detailed program for this information). There are 5 minutes between each speaker for questions and transition time. Each meeting room will have one 35-mm slide projector, one viewgraph/overhead projector, and one computer LCD projector (presenters need to supply their own computer). If you require a TV and VCR (NTSC VHS or SVHS only), please contact the Symposium administrator immediately.


Schedule for Poster Sessions

Session #1 If your poster is scheduled for Session #1, your poster should be on display from Sept. 7 10 am until Sept. 8 noon, for a total of 12.5 hrs open viewing time.

Session #2 If your poster is scheduled for Session #2, your poster should be on display from Sept. 8 3:30 pm until Sept. 9 6 pm, for a total of 13 hrs open viewing time.

Posters will be displayed in Merrill Hall along with the commercial exhibitor booths. Merrill Hall is the location for all the morning and afternoon refreshment breaks.

*During the formally scheduled viewing time we ask that presenting authors please stand next to their poster to answer questions.

Each poster presenter is provided with a mounting area that is 45 inches high by 42 inches wide. Note that if your poster is a little too high, it will just hang off the edge of the board. Your poster will be assigned a number corresponding to its placement in Merrill Hall. All posters from a given session will be placed together. Pushpins, tape, scissors, etc., will be available. Please note that some poster abstracts were moved from the session in which they were originally scheduled. Check the alphabetical listing of abstracts to check the session into which your abstract has been placed. In the printed program, your abstract will appear with a number to indicate the location inside Merrill Hall for displaying the poster (please look for the appropriately labeled poster board).
