Bioluminescence: Plankton Distribution Patterns

    Edith A. Widder

Keywords: Oceanography, Instrumentation, Light measurements, Plankton

The research objectives of the Bioluminescence Department at Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institution are to determine how low light phenomena, both the light produced by the organisms themselves and solar radiation below 200 meters, influence the distribution and behavior of marine organisms.

For more details about our research check out our Bioluminescence Department web page.
